Today we're excited to announce a new release of PhotoTangler Collage Maker, version 2.4.0. It includes a variety of features and fixes, while also restoring the full cross-platform set of desktop download options (Windows, Linux, and OSX.)

Much of the work behind this release was based around stability and synchronization of the application features across all available desktop versions. This should set the stage for some exciting new features we're working on for future releases. In the meantime, here's what's new in this release:

Added DPI settings to Project Presets

Added more robust error messages for failed operations

Added Project Validation on project load and save

Added a Log Viewer (in the Help menu), for detailed warnings and errors

Added a 'Recent Projects' menu to the New Project dialog

Fixed text rendering artifacts, where edge lines appeared

Fixed ordering issues for effect start and end nodes

Changed effect nodes to maintain their colors when selected

Upgraded the Windows release to 64-bit (allowing even larger image support)

A wide range of general enhancements, including stability and bug fixes

In addition, as mentioned above, we've fully updated the Linux release, and now offer a stand-alone, downloadable OSX installer (as an optional alternative to the App store.) For the full list of downloads across multiple platforms, visit here!
